POSITION: SENIOR COORDINATOR GRANTS COMPLIANCE AND FINANCIAL MONITORING - 1

Since 1989, Helen Keller International, an international non-profit organization (INGO), has been working in Nepal to enhance women's and young children's nutritional status through programs and evidence-based research. Environment and Public Health Organization, CARE, FHI 360, Nepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG), Digital Broadcast Initiative Equal Access (DBIEA), Helen Keller International, and (ENPHO). Together, Vijaya Development Resource Center (VDRC) and USAID are carrying out the 42 districts of the Sahara Il Program. Sunahara Il is also helping the government of Nepal stop the spread of COVID-19 in the neighborhood and hasten immunization rates. Summary of Job Purpose: The position holder is responsible for overseeing the compliance and requirement of implementing grants funded by Helen Keller Intl/SP Il resources and quality reporting in time; s/he will also identify areas where support and improvement are required and ensure follow-up mechanism is in the place to meet and maintain the standard and operational efficiency of specific grants, responsible for grants management related work and as assigned by supervisor requires frequent field visits to ensure field-based, staff and NGOs have adequate support to meet and maintain compliance requirement.

Educational Qualifications and Experiences: Master's in business and accounting or business management; minimum 4 years experience in an INGO on grant management and/or Finance & Administration in a complex budget setting and experience in financial monitoring, budgetary systems, and controls with strong analytical skills, skills on QuickBooks/accounting software, FAMAS Accounting software, excellent computer skills, advance knowledge in a spreadsheet, experience with accounting and internal control procedures, sub-award management and USAID rules and regulation.
